An Old Lookout Cookbook Discovered - Perfect Recipes for Camper/RV

Fifteen women and one gentleman contributed test recipes for a fire lookout cookbook in 1937. The recipes could all be made successfully with the food furnished by the U. S. Forest Service--much of it canned or dried.
If you camp or have an RV, these recipes are perfect. They are relatively simple to make, have only a few common ingredients, easy to store and can satisfy a hearty appetite.
