How to Kill a Tree You Hate With Chemicals
Sometimes a tree just needs to go! Good news is, you can chemically treat and kill trees.
Killing a Tree You Hate Without Chemicals
Killing a tree is hard work, particularly if you avoid using chemical assistance. You have to cut off a tree's water, food and/or sunlight at a critical time in it's life cycle to do the job.

To kill a tree without “chemicals” use chlorine bleach. To apply, dig down to expose a root. A post hole auger seems to have a way of finding roots; or use this tip I picked up from watching a mud jacker. Get a 3 foot length of conduit or pipe, and another pipe or rod that will slide through it, and is a bit longer. Make a point for the larger pipe or conduit out of hardwood, either on a lathe or by carving. Tape the point onto the pipe using duct tape. Drive the pointed pipe down into the ground where it will encounter roots. Take the second pipe or rod, and insert it down the first pipe, and tap the wooden point free of the pipe, being careful not to lose one pipe inside the other. Remove the second pipe, then pour the pipe full of chlorine bleach. After a day or so, you can pull the pipe out, put on another wooden point, and you are ready for the next tree.

My neighbor has a tree that has not seen an Arborist in at least a decade. The tree itself has always been a source of shade and beauty for us and I don’t want to do what seems needs to be done, but this tree has already bent our new fence, threatens our tool shed’s roof, and the roots take up a great percentage of our backyard which makes it quite difficult to install irrigation or new plants. This tree either needs an EXTREME hair cut or she needs to meet her maker. The complication: Our neglectful neighbor performed a social faux pa on my Mother in public and I don’t think anyone on this side of the fence can talk to him for fear he may be dangerous. What to do?

you can also just chop it down, then lop the “weeds” that come back for about 2 years, and you have it taken care of!

I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your website?
Its very well written; I love what youve got to say.
But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could
connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one
or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?
