Sycamore Anthracnose Discussion

Friday July 20, 2007
"I live in Michigan and have a huge, beautiful sycamore tree in my backyard. However, I do believe it does have the fungus Anthracnose. Leaves are dropping daily but the tree still has plenty foliage. Is there any treatment for Anthracnose? Please let me know." - Chris

This question comes from my forum where you get forestry and tree related questions answered quickly by forestry professionals. Information on sycamore anthracnose is just one of the many issues discussed on this Forestry Board.

Wet weather has put the sycamore tree in some stress throughout the eastern United States. The following article is an example of national concern for a disease that is a summer plague.
