When is Tree Planting Season?

Tuesday November 20, 2007
If you are purchasing tree seedlings that have exposed roots (bareroot) then you need to hold off for at least another month before planting. Some nurseries will allow you to purchase these seedlings in mid-November. If you are purchasing tree saplings that include an earth ball (root balled) you have the option to plant at any time of the year.

I have developed a Tree Planting FAQ. The site answers eight of the most frequently asked questions about planting trees.

A great way to start off planting a tree this season is by first taking my wellness test. The correct answers will be given to you just in case you might not know the answer. See how well you do and how much you will learn.
