Here is an illustrated "how-to" on planting a tree sapling the proper way. I instruct you on planting the container-grown or balled in burlap tree using the proper method. Use this method to improve your tree's survivability over the next critical year.
Balled in burlap trees are uniquely prepared to plant in all seasons with proper care!

Hey, this is an interesting blog. I have always struggled to learn tree identification. I collected the Audibon Society books for eastern and western US and realized that to learn every tree would take forever. But I am willing to give it a try again.
Now that I have found an expert, I am looking for a Landscape plant for my yard with some very specialized requirements. It must be a low evergreen shrub that can grow well in very moist clay soil high in nitrate nutrients (septic field effluent) on low light conditions, as it is shaded both to the east and west. I prefer if it does not need pruning.
