"Dear Steve,
I stumbled upon your "Make a Tree Leaf Collection". It is very good and showed us the step by step process. My family is loving camping and nature stuff. We see lots of trees but didn't know their names. I want to teach my kids (10 year old boy and 8 year old girl) how to name these plants and trees. Do you have any more papers or books recommended for this subject?" - Wei
I sure do! You really have to have the right approach to keep a kid's attention when teaching them about trees. Two very good books are available as nature starter kits for children. I recommend Stikky Trees and Take a Tree Walk. Check out my reviews:

I am amazed at how many of the links to your articles are broken. I click on a link to continue reading and boom! i am taken to a page with a totally new subject.
What gives?
Thanx Charles.
I actually don’t see any off the blog. I am well aware that with the thousands of links I maintain, some could be broken or changed content – especially off site links.
It would be helpful if you could point to the ones you found lacking…
In reading your newsletter today I was wondering if you had posters to purchase that give the wonderful 7 slide series “use the tree parts to identify a tree”.
