My wife’s family come from Rhodesia (now called Zimbabwe) and South Africa. They sometimes speak of the baobab tree in lower Africa. It’s not hard to find pictures of this huge, odd tree, but more information IS hard to get. Have these trees any practical use? I hear they do not have annual rings. Is this so?
