A Beginner Chainsaw eCourse

Chainsaws are purchased everyday with very little thought and NO training. Acquainting yourself with a chainsaw before it is purchased (or rented) can save time and trouble and can make the experience much safer. Worry about getting the perfect power saw AFTER taking this beginners eCourse.

Who Should Take The eCourse?
I've created lessons that break the chainsaw eCourse into four major content areas. These lessons are designed to give the occasional user and the new saw owner a working knowledge of their chainsaw.

How Long Is The eCourse?
The lessons will come to you in the form of four daily email newsletters.

How Do I Get Started?
Sign up below and your first 4-Day Beginner Chainsaw lesson will arrive shortly - if it doesn't, see the "Don't Miss an Issue" section. When the last newsletter arrives you are automatically unsubscribed - no action required on your part. To unsubscribe earlier use the link at the end of one of the newsletters.

Don't Miss an Issue
Be sure to read the notes on making sure the newsletters can get past any spam-blocking measures you or your ISP have in place (below signup form). It's up to you. If your inbox is full, you won't receive delivery. If you use spam-blocking software that requires the sender to fill in a form, you won't receive delivery. You'll need to make sure that this newsletter is marked as "non-spam" or "friend" in whatever blocking software you or your ISP uses.

Doublecheck your email address! Most of the bounces I receive are from subscribers making typos on their email addresses - transposing letters, leaving out part of the address, or accidently adding extra characters.

Is your email box being filtered for spam? Don't let your newsletters end up in the trash. To ensure that you recieve your mailings, please configure your spam filters to bypass any messages with a from address that ends in "about.com" (ex: newsletters@about.com).
