Guide Review - A Sand County Almanac
This is a reveiw of a series of portraits of the natural world called A Sand County Almanac and written by Aldo Leopold. Leopold was a forester, the father of wildlife management and an excellent writer of conservation prose. This is my favorite book in the area of the natural resources. This book is easily affordable, a must for the serious conservationist, and a great read. A Sand County Almanac explores the diversity of the unspoiled American landscape with extraordinary insight. Aldo Leopold was a visionary who still influences American conservation policy.
