Location: Western Africa, bordering the North Atlantic Ocean, between Guinea and Senegal.
The Resource: "Closed subhumid forests", also named evergreen or semi-deciduous tropical forests, are related in terms of structure and composition to the multi-storeyed forests of Sierra Leone and Liberia. In fact, they are present in the South-Eastern region of the country. - FAO
Cause of Problem: "Economic development is carried on without regard for the ecological consequences and forest destruction rates are high." - RAB
