The World's Ten Thirstiest Children
- Earth Day Network will launch a two-year campaign highlighting critical water access, health, and usage issues, illustrated by the Ten Thirstiest Children on Earth. The campaign aims to garner political will, inspire individual action and mobilize necessary resources to improve access to healthy water.
Corporate Water Challenge
- About 20% of the world's water supply is used by corporations - at least half of that is wasted. Earth Day Network challenges the private sector to conserve water and reinvest in community development.
