 "This poor tree (first picture) was toasted last summer in the Hayman and zapped with lightning this year.  Is it dead yet?" - JEBTABOZ       The Hayman fire was Colorado's largest wildfire ever recorded.  It started illegally from a campfire in the Pike National Forest at a point less than 60 miles south and west of Denver. The fire was reported on June 8, 2002 but was not officially contained until July 2, 2002.
