Moisture-holding Packing
The simplest way to prevent seedlings from losing moisture is to provide moisture holding packing material. Also, a multi-walled packing paper is used that acts as a vapor barrier.

Philip Wilson comments:
"This packing product is similar to the material used in baby diapers to remove moisture except that we pre-wet it with water. It is clingy material that attaches to the roots and goes into the planting hole with the seedling and actually attracts moisture to the seedlings roots under dry conditions."
