- Chain Catcher (protection from chain)
- Anti-vibration handle system (hand and protection)
- Hand guard (hand protection)
- Muffler (hearing protection)
- Chain brake (kickback protection)
- Throttle (controls saw speed)
- Throttle interlock (kills power when dropped)
