Wildfire Destruction on Colorado Hayman Fire

Wildfire is destructive. Wildlife suffers, watersheds lose the ability to capture water, soils are depleted of nutrients, air quality is degraded, personal property and human life is threatened and millions of dollars of timber value is lost. Regular prescribed fire would have prevented this disaster.
