Heading to Initialization

Heading: The direction in which a person or vehicle is moving.

Initialization: The first time a GPS receiver finds the satellite array and orients itself to its current location. After initialization has occurred, the receiver will remembers its location and acquires a position more quickly because it knows which satellites to look for.
