Question: I would like to use the tree as a utility pole. Can I do that?
Answer: Look, if you would rather have a utility pole instead of a tree, go ahead! Utility poles and posts cost money and a tree can always be replaced. The tree may actually live and serve both purposes - or not.
Use your tree as a utility pole, a post for fences, a mailbox, a deer stands, electric light pole - your imagination is your only limitation...
