Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia):  On rainy days and dusk the individual black locust leaflets will fold and the entire leaf will droop.  The last continental glaciation and almost wiped this tree out, confining it to a small area of the southern Appalachians.  Black locusts outside this area are their progeny.
