Timber Mule
- I really like the Timber Mule Portable Sawmill, it is a very solid built, fast cutting little mill, they have very competitive pricing, and its local here in Kentucky I had the opportunity to go and see the shop where my mill was made. If you live in KY I would highly recommend checking them out and if you are in the market for a bandmill, you can also find them at www.timbermule.com (Editor: I did check this site, it exists and the equipment looks standard for the industry. I do not always allow commercials but in this case I make this an exception.)

My Portable Sawmill Favorite - Logosol
- I have cut several thousand board feet of many different species of wood since purchasing a Logosol portable sawmill 4 years ago. It weighs just over 100 pounds, is easily transported in my pickup and can be taken to the log preventing damage to other trees by dragging a log out. By inverting the mill, I have cut logs 48" in diameter, too large for commercial mills. It has been great to turn storm damaged waste into beautiful lumber and do it affordably and easily. It has allowed me to do my woodworking hobby at an affordable price. I love it and have found no other mill with it's capabilities and ease of use in it's category!
